Every design for Vingåker

Vingåker lies in western Södermanland and is the main town of Vingåker municipality. The Vingåkersån runs through the community, and all around a lake-rich landscape spreads out that makes the district a fine starting point for anyone who likes nature, swimming and fishing – not least for the classic tour around Hjälmaren.

What really puts Vingåker on the map is Säfstaholm castle with its surrounding castle park. Down by the community you also find lake Kolsnaren, the leafy Station park and the lively Skräddartorget in the middle of town. Together they give the picture of a place where castle romance and everyday life meet, with the water never far away.

For anyone with roots here, who has paddled on Kolsnaren on a still summer evening or strolled in the castle park on an autumn day, the map becomes more than lines and names.
