Every design for Värnamo

Värnamo lies where the river Lagan runs through Småland, some way before it flows out into lake Vidöstern. As the main town of Värnamo municipality the town grew up by the water, and the name itself tells its own story: värn in the sense of an enclosure and mo for the sandy ground.

It is a town with both nature and culture within reach. Vandalorum draws the art-curious, while Apladalen offers greenery and calm in the middle of town. If you want to cool off there is the Osudden bathing place by the water, and around Prostsjön and Vidöstern the landscape opens up for anyone who likes to get outdoors.

It is this mixture of river, lakes and Småland routes that the map catches. Follow the curves of the Lagan and the edge of Vidöstern with a finger, and suddenly the paths of Apladalen and the shore at Osudden are only a stone's throw away – Värnamo to carry with you wherever you end up.
