Every design for Varekil

On the southern part of Orust lies Varekil, a town living close to the water and the forest. Much of it is about what lies around it - the inlets and lakes that ring the place and give it its own stamp in Orust municipality.

Around Varekil you find a landscape full of nature reserves and still water. The Stigfjorden nature reserve and the Svanvik nature reserve protect parts of the coast and the archipelago, while lakes such as Skogvattnet and Klutevatten and inlets such as Vasbotten and Dalmyren fill the map with names familiar to everyone who has moved about here.

It is exactly that mixture of fjord, lake and forest that makes the design come alive. On the shirt you see Varekil's tufts of water and land - a small greeting to everyone who has once walked along the Stigfjord or fished on a quiet morning at Skogvattnet.
