Every design for Markaryd

On the shores of Klocksjön lies Markaryd, the main town of Markaryd municipality in the south-western corner of Småland. The provinces almost meet here, with the borders of both Skåne and Halland a stone's throw away, and the town has long lived under the sign of movement - through the Markaryd line and along the great route towards Halmstad and Karlshamn.

It is a district full of water. Andsjön, Hannabadsjön and Skärsjön lie scattered around the town, and names such as Gölen and Lokasjön are among those local people recognise without a map. It is exactly that mixture of lakes, forest and through routes that gives Markaryd its own character.
