Every design for Laholm

Have you walked along the Lagan where the river makes its way out into Laholmsbukten? Here lies Laholm, Halland's oldest town with privileges going back to the 1200s and at the same time the province's smallest. Its position at the river mouth and the sea has shaped the town for centuries, and to this day the nearness of both water and plain is in the air.

There is something about the many sculptures that lodges in the memory. Odalmannen with his basket, the potato pickers, the girl with birds in her hair and the horse fountain turn up between the streets, and the Laga fountain and the salmon mosaic recall the importance of the river and the water. Add the Drawing museum and Lagaholm, and you see why a walk through town is seldom monotonous.

On the map you quickly find the Lagan's winding way towards the bay, the blocks of the old town and the places where the sculptures stand.
