From here, and especially up in the Klockarbacken lookout tower, the Bergslagen landscape spreads out - forest, water and the calm rhythm of a town on national road 63 in Örebro County. Down by Stor-Pelles-viken you find the water-near stillness that marks the district.
As the main town of Ljusnarsberg municipality, Kopparberg holds both history and everyday life. The town reaches towards its neighbour Bångbro, and thanks to the station on the Bergslagsbanan there are direct trains to Örebro and Borlänge among others - near enough to stay in, far enough to long home to.
