Every design for Hova

As the main town of Gullspång municipality, Hova has long been a gathering point in this part of Västra Götaland. The E20 and county road 200 meet here, and the trains on the Kinnekulle line stop at Hova station. The place was once the court seat of the Hova hundred, and that history still sits in the streets and blocks.

The church park is one of the places locals gladly return to, and a little way off the Folkeberg nature reserve spreads out with its calm. Names such as Hedensås give the map its own ring, and for many it is the connection to Stikkan Anderson that makes Hova feel a little larger than its size.

Perhaps those are the things you miss most once you have moved: the forest paths, the church tower against the sky, the sound of a train pulling in.
