Every design for Götene

Götene lies where the roads meet on the Västergötland plain, halfway between Mariestad and Skara along the E20, right by the junction where national road 44 turns off for Lidköping. It is a main town with that calm rhythm found in smaller places in Västergötland – close to both the neighbouring towns and the open plain.

St Elin marks the place, and anyone moving around Centrumparken and Fornparken quickly notices that greenery is never far away. Everyday life happens here at its own pace: the walks through the parks, the meetings on the square, the familiar hum of through traffic that belongs to the place all the same.
