At the mouth of the Göta älv, where the river meets the west coast, lies Gothenburg – Sweden's second largest city and one of the most populous in the Nordic countries. The sea has always been present here, from the ships putting in at the largest harbour in the North to the British merchants who once gave the city the nickname Little London.

It is a city that carries traces of its history in every block. In Haga you stroll the streets, and Hem i Haga keeps the feeling of the old quarter alive. By the water, Maritiman tells of seafaring Gothenburg, while the Röhsska museum, the Radio museum and the Gathenhielm cultural reserve each capture different sides of the city. It is that mixture of industry, sea and street corner that makes the people of Gothenburg recognise themselves.

And it is exactly that recognition that sits in this map design. Following the river's bend and seeing the harbour drawn on the fabric, the memories surface – a walk through Haga, a morning with a raw wind off the west. A city you always come back to, now to carry with you.
