Every design for Djurås

There is something quiet about Djurås, a place where the pace is set by the rivers rather than the clock. It is here that the Österdalälven and the Västerdalälven flow together and become the Dalälven – a meeting of waters so plain that the place is simply called Älvmötet, the river meeting. As the main town of Gagnef municipality, Djurås is a gathering point in this part of Dalarna, with villages such as Djurmo and Djurås by tied to the district.

A walk past the school museum or out towards Andersholen gives a feeling for both history and landscape.
