Every design for Bjärred

By Lommabukten, a little over ten kilometres west of Lund, lies Bjärred – a place where the sea and the plain meet, and where a large share of Lomma municipality's inhabitants have chosen to settle. Facing the water shapes daily life, with the Skåne coast only a stone's throw away.

Traces of the town's history are kept at the Bjersund brickworks museum, and nature spreads out across several protected areas. The Flädierev nature reserve and the Augustenborg nature reserve draw anyone who wants to walk, and the greenery of Bjerehovsparken is one of the place's breathing spaces. Domedelja bog is a further reminder of how close nature lies.

For many, Bjärred is exactly that: the place where you belong. With the map of the town across your chest, that feeling comes along wherever you go.
