Every design for Bengtsfors

Bengtsfors lies wedged between the lakes Lelång and Bengtsbrohöljen, in the middle of Dalsland, and is the main town of the municipality that bears its name. Life goes at a calmer pace here, with water around the corner whichever way you turn, and with Strömkullegymnasiet and Bengtsgården drawing the district's young people together.

At the Gammelgården open-air museum the old Dalsland countryside steps forward, and the Dal Västra Värmlands Järnväg recalls the days when steam and rails tied the towns together. All around, small tarns glitter – Djupvikstjärnet, Klovstjärnen and Käretjärnen – while Bengtsfors nedre is one of those places you pass without thinking how self-evident it has become.
