Every design for Horsens

Horsens sits at the very end of Horsens Fjord on Jutland's east coast, between Aarhus to the north and Vejle to the south, ringed by the low hills and valleys the glaciers left behind. Electronics and graphics firms keep it busy, and VIA University College brings students from abroad.

Fængslet, the former state prison on a hilltop in the north of town, now fills with concerts and festivals, and the Horsens New Theatre has drawn names such as Madonna and the Rolling Stones. Horsens Museum, Horsens Kunstmuseum and Bygholm Park are part of the everyday map, and Søndergade, the widest main street in the country, is given over to pedestrians. Late every August the centre turns into a medieval market town for the European Medieval Festival.
